Did You Really?

Privacy Policy · Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Introduction

LuckyhanStudio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Did You Really? application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

The App is built to work entirely offline, without an account or a server, so most of what people expect to read in a privacy policy about server-side data collection simply does not apply here. Please read "4. How Photos Are Handled" below — it is the most important section for this App.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

The App does not require an account, so we never collect information that identifies you personally on any server. The following information is created and stored only on your device:

None of the above is ever transmitted to LuckyhanStudio or to any third party. It stays inside the App's private storage on your device.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

The App has no backend server at all, so there is nothing for us to collect or store even if we wanted to.

4. How Photos Are Handled

This is the most important part of this Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions, each used only for the purpose stated:

None of these permissions are used to collect data for advertising or analytics purposes.

6. Advertising and Consent

The App is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdMob, which may show banner, native, interstitial, and app-open ads.

To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and other advertising-related data. This collection is performed by Google, not by the App's own code, and is entirely separate from the photo verification described above — your photos are never involved. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain your consent for personalized advertising before showing ads. You can review or change your ad privacy choices at any time from the App's Settings screen.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App has no account system, no personal information is ever knowingly collected from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App in a way that concerns you, contact us using the details below.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All reminders, photos, completion history, and streaks are stored only on your device, for as long as you keep the App installed. We do not retain any copy of this information, because it is never sent to us.

You can delete individual reminders and their photos at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all of this data from your device; there is nothing left on any server for us to delete, because nothing was ever collected there.

9. Regional Rights

GDPR / EEA / UK — If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of personal data. Because the App does not collect personal data on a server, these rights apply mainly to advertising data collected by Google AdMob and Google UMP; you can manage your consent from the App's Settings screen or directly with Google.

CCPA / California — If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. LuckyhanStudio does not sell personal information. Advertising identifiers processed by Google AdMob may be considered a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA; you can limit this through the App's Settings screen, your device's ad settings, or Google's own controls.

If you live in another region with its own privacy law, the same principles apply: we do not collect personal data ourselves, and any advertising-related data is handled by Google as described above.

10. Medical Disclaimer

The App may be used to set reminders for medication doses or other health-related tasks, and its photo-verification feature can be applied to that use case. However:

Always follow the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional regarding medication and treatment. If you or someone in your care depends on strict medication adherence, use an appropriate medical-grade solution in addition to, or instead of, this App.
